I paint with alkyd, comparable and mixable with oil paint. Most
portraits are commissioned and tell something about the hobbies or
characteristics of the portraited, ‘portraits with a story’. A continuing
hobby is painting door-knockers I photographed all over Europe with
details of well-known paintings or of nature.
